Digitools

i freaking hate this class so much. :)

one would think that the public education system would be spending my parents' taxes on something better than this 1 hour and 27 minutes of completely wasted time.

anyways...yesterday i had a great time running around hovander park with my now 3 and a half year old cousin, morgan. we looked at the bunnies and jumped around on tractors, only stopping to take a potty break. it just blows my mind to think barely two years ago, she had a deadly MERSA infection thanks to her no-good "mother". for those of you who don't know her story, morgan was born to my psychotic brother of my mother and some crack-whore he found on the streets. Lisa, aka crack-whore, was killed in a car wreck two December's ago, and Morgan was with my grandparents while Kenny, my uncle, was greiving or whatever. we found serious blisters which had popped and formed new blisters and were infected on morgan's booty that were due to not changing her diaper. she had to go through surgery and after go to the hospital every single day, even on christmas, to get her bandage changed. my biggest fear was that she was going to be thrown into the child-care system, foster home after foster home, because it was clear kenny could not take care of her. someone up in heaven must have been looking out for morgan because a good family from our church inquired about her, and wanted to adopt. the process has lasted about a year of trials and meetings and CPS deciding who morgan should be with. it has been a waste of time; CPS should never have given kenny another chance, because it has only traumatized morgan more and the outcome was what we all expected. CPS finally decided that kenny wasn't a suitable parent when he burst out in one of the meetings, screaming and calling his case-worker a "beeyotch". i find the system so ridiculous.

thank god now morgan is with that family that i mentioned earlier, and all is finally looking in favor to the benefit of morgan. the adoption process is almost final, and we're all so happy.

morgan is beautiful and should be represented as nature's gift to humankind. she is growing and so is her mind. she asked me yesterday and a high-pitched clear voice "are you my sister?" cutest thing ever. i hate it so much when stupid people abuse our beautiful gift of children. bad people who not only screwed up their life, but also affect the lives' of the youth, is pretty much the worst thing ever.

so yeah. class is about over. this was fun. lets do it again ;)
